You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies that enhance our artists’ presence, engage their fan base, and drive organic growth. You will work with some of the industry’s most promising talents and make a significant impact in the ever-evolving landscape of music marketing.
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that effectively showcase our artists and drive engagement across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Create and curate compelling content that captures the essence of our artists’ music and resonates with their target audience, fostering a deep sense of connection and loyalty.
- Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistency in branding, tone, and messaging, while actively monitoring and responding to comments, inquiries, and trends.
- Collaborate closely with artists, their management teams, and internal stakeholders to align social media efforts with overall marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging social media platforms, exploring innovative strategies to maximise our artists’ online visibility and fan base growth.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, providing regular reports on the effectiveness of social media campaigns and implementing adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Develop and nurture relationships with influencers, industry professionals, and strategic partners to amplify our artists’ reach and cultivate meaningful collaborations.
- Proven track record in successfully managing social media platforms and executing impactful campaigns, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
- In-depth knowledge of social media best practices, algorithms, and emerging trends, with a keen eye for innovative storytelling techniques and viral content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt messaging to different platforms and audiences.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software to streamline workflows and optimise content performance.
- Strong project management abilities, including the capacity to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for music and a comprehensive understanding of the diverse genres, cultures, and nuances within the industry.
- A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with the capacity to work closely with artists and teams of varying backgrounds and personalities.
- Educated to degree standard in a relevant marketing area.
- Experience working directly with musicians, record labels, or talent management agencies, with a deep understanding of the artist development process.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, paid social media campaigns, and performance marketing metrics.
- Proficiency in graphic design, photo editing, and video production software to create visually captivating content.
- Knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and the ability to optimise social media content for increased discoverability.
- Understanding of intellectual property rights and copyright regulations as they pertain to social media marketing in the music industry.
