Law founded and co-owns the Repertoire label – one of the key players in the contemporary jungle movement.
With over 20 years behind the decks, Law has gained a reputation on the underground circuit for his precision mixing and broad selection. Law’s breakbeat-driven sounds has seen him play at some of London’s most renowned venues including Ministry of Sound, Corsica Studios and Scala. He has regularly supported promotions as diverse as Drum & Bass Arena, Rupture and Essence of Chi. Additionally, he has enjoyed consistent radio appearances, most recently with guest spots on Sherelle’s Represent Radio Show and Tom Ravenscroft’s BBC 6 Music program.
After experimenting with production in the early 2000s, Law launched the Repertoire label in 2009 with the release of his track ‘Sophine’. Early support came from Crissy Criss on his BBC 1xtra show and the legendary DJ Nookie.
In 2010 Law started the renowned blog Drumtrip; an outlet for his encyclopaedic knowledge of D&B’s history. 2015 saw a shift in Law’s focus, with a decision to re-launch the Repertoire imprint in partnership with Ben Repertoire. A crowd-funded release of his own solo production ‘Something Special’ flew off the shelves proving the labels’ potential.
Repertoire has gone from strength-to-strength becoming one of the mainstays of the jungle revival. Releases from artists have included Tim Reaper, Mantra, Ricky Force, Dead Man’s Chest, Djinn, and Shiken Hanzo.
As well as DJing all across the UK, Law has upped his own musical output in the last few years. He has remixed cutting edge producers such as UVB-76’s Overlook and Blu Mar Ten. He has new music signed across a spectrum of labels slated for 2020.
