Missledz, involved in underground music from an early age, has a DJ career spanning over 13 years. Her DJ sets are an eclectic, energetic and technical selection. Her style is to infuse a wide spectrum of techstep, minimal, tech rollers and neurofunk. Missledz has supported a plethora of artists including Break, Calyx and Teebee, Ant TC1, Zero T, Koven, Marky, Current Value, Emperor, IMANU, Philth, Ivy Lab, Ulterior Motive, Foreign Concept, Ill Truth and more.
Missledz originally hails from sunny Adelaide, Australia. She established herself in the dnb scene down under becoming a regular on the circuit as a rising D&B talent. She was a Co-Host of The Ones & Twos on Fresh92.7 and The Usual Suspects on Soundpond.net. In 2017 she took the intrepid decision to move to England to make her mark on drum and bass culture in the UK.
Professionally pursuing music production has resulted in releases on ‘Lifestyle Music’, ‘Boey Audio’, ‘Strictly Deep DNB’ and with the ‘Concrete Jungyals’ collective. Three of her tracks, ‘Ember’, ‘Pistachios’ and ‘Alignment’ were notably featured on René Lavice’s BBC Radio 1 show. Support for her productions has been equally far-reaching. Artists have included Fre4knc, Quadrant & Iris, Revaux, Dilemma, Toronto is Broken and Sam Harris.
Missledz was recently asked to provide a guest mix for René Lavice’s BBC Radio 1 show as part of a ‘D&B Down Under’ special. She has made regular appearances on Data Transmission, DNB France, Reprezent Radio, Synkronized, Beyond Bass, Critical Bass Recordings and others.
2020 sees missledz back in the production studio with several diverse tracks slated for release. With a growing reputation for slaying audiences with deep, dark and experimental drum & bass sets, she isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon.
