Scepticz started his journey into the world of drum and bass DJing and production more than 12 years ago. After some years honing his production craft the tracks started to flow. Releases on such labels as Dispatch, 31 Recordings and Commercial Suicide have been responsible for him developing a reputation as a forward-thinking drum and bass producer and DJ.
Now carving a definitive path into the land of beats he has received regular support from a wide selection of tastemakers. These include Doc Scott, Alix Perez, Kasra, DLR, Skeptical, Ulterior Motive, Jubei, Mako and Bredren. Releases such as ‘Think Fast’, ‘The Host’ and ‘Komorebi / Psycho’ have propelled him forward at a rate of knots. His work has been regularly featured on Drum and Bass Arena and Skankandbass YouTube and Soundcloud channels.
His first track on Alix Perez’s 1985 Music released to acclaim. 2019’s ‘Flatline’, a deep, techy roll out with stablemate Lavance, was a keynote for the future. Deep minimal rollers were the call from DLR when Scepticz & Submarine collaborated to Sofa Sounds ‘Sofa King Sick Chapter 1’ with the track, Shingoki. This hit the spot and he was asked for a solo production to ‘Sofa King Sick Chapter 2’ in 2020. Delivering on his growing reputation for quality he didn’t disappoint and dropped the superb track ‘Baja’.
