Gremlinz first discovered the sounds of Drum and Bass and Jungle in the mid 90's. Drawn to the culture surrounding the scene, he quickly became immersed in collecting vinyl, DJing and learning to produce the music that has since taken over his life. In 2004 Gremlinz secured his first release as part of the MDZ04 LP on the revered Metalheadz. As his favourite label, it was understandably the most influential to the development of his taste. It was to be a formidable statement of intent for this uncompromising maverick artist.

Gremlinz has gone on to drop a prolific stream of tracks on a repertoire of labels. Cuts on Renegade Hardware, 31 Records, Cylon, Architecture, Rupture, AMAR, and Paradox clearly demonstrate his multi-faceted technique. Whether he's dropping beat heavy artillery or nuanced dubby half step, the accolades have been numerous. Such respect has led to global demand for his DJ sets. As part of Loxy & Ink's 'Horsemen' Collective, he is aligned with a stable of producers providing a never-ending supply of fresh music.

In 2015 Gremlinz set up the heralded UVB-76 imprint with Ruffhouse. This quickly grew to include 3 equally well-received offshoots, Droogs, 4 6 2 5, and The Stone Tapes. 2018 saw his career come full circle with a renewed focus in the studio alongside longtime friend and close collaborator Jesta. The result was a return to Metalheadz in the form of Gremlinz & Jesta EP on METHXX closely followed by a 12” on Metalheadz Platinum.
