M-Traxxx is a DJ and producer who has been rocking dance floors for three decades. Growing up in a musical household it all started when his cousin handed him a mid-eighties mixtape of Farley Jackmaster Funk. After hearing that tape, he quickly became involved with the culture and knew that he was destined to become a DJ. The rest, as they say is history. He has been a signalling force for the sound of Chicago House and Detroit Techno from day one. Never one to compromise, he’s never adopted the latest sound or trends. M-Traxxx (Manny Cuevas) is about 2 things – grooves and vibes. If you can deliver those, you’ve got a party.
M-Traxxx quickly became synonymous with the radio stations of the time. Starting on Orlando’s WPRK 91.5FM he had a regular show pushing his sounds from 1989 to 1997. Building a name for himself over this time he DJ’d all over the world. He has appeared alongside Carl Craig, Roy Davis Jr, Armand Van Helden, DJ Sneak and DJ Duke. He has regularly guested on radio shows the world over with DJ Pierre. He maintains one outlook, hard work, commitment, and dedication to one’s belief. Its this mantra that he takes and conveys in his DJ sets.
M-Traxx has produced floor filling tracks for several prominent labels including Eightball Records. He has remixed tracks for some of the biggest names in the business including, Louie Vega, DJ Pierre and Junior Vasquez. His productions have seen huge support from Robert Owens, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Roy Davis Jr, and Tyree Cooper. Support has also come from Hercules and Love Affair, with M-Traxxx sitting on top of Andy Butler's chart to close out 2014.
M-Traxx embodies the original art form of house music in its truest sense. 2022 is just the beginning.
