Mizeyesis began her musical journey in 2004. She was actively promoting events, DJing and also co-founded the collective ‘Threshold Sound’ based in Connecticut. By 2008 she was accepting bookings from all over the USA and building a national reputation for herself.
In 2010, she was approached by Satellite EDM to curate their DNB & Jungle selection online. 2012 saw her gain the attention of Jungletrain.net, producing the show, ‘The Aural Report’. She also worked with Wu DJ Coalition on the show ‘Culture Clash’ exposing hip hop fans to bass music and jungle/dnb. Following that DNB Girls asked her to become their US Manager. Mizeyesis was also asked by MIA DNB to become a member of the largest DNB collective in North America.
2015 saw her collaborate with Skru on ‘Sea Jah EP’ for her inaugural release on UK label, Hexagon Digital. In 2016 Mizeyesis collaborated on ‘Convergence EP’ with AwakeFM for Omni Music. 2017 saw her 7 track EP for Faction Digital, ‘Seven Systems’ released. Mizeyesis also released ‘Salvation’ on Junglist Resistance – a jungle compilation raising money for charities against violence, hatred and discrimination. Her 2020 track ‘Call to the Ancestors’ on Repertorie’s Streetlight Volume 1, was also widely critically acclaimed.
Mizeyesis has performed at many US-based festivals including, The Winter Music Conference, Beltek and Hydrotechnics. High profile DNB bookings include Respect (LA), Rupture (London), Elements (Boston), Konkrete Jungle (NYC), Direct Drive (NYC), Natural Selection (NYC), Two:Tone (Dallas), MPLS (Minneapolis), and many others.
In 2020 Mizeyesis featured for Hospital Records ‘On the Beach’ Livestream show and many other projects. One thing is certain, you will be entertained and enlightened by Mizeysis as she has a curious knack for lifting spirits with her selections.
